What is your return policy?

We offer a 7-Day “Love It or Return It” policy.

If your piece isn’t perfect for size or style, email us at contact@fourteenaugust.com within 7 days of delivery to begin a return or exchange.

How does the return process work?

  1. Email us your order number and reason for return (fit, style, etc.).

  2. We’ll send a Return Authorization (RA) number and packing instructions.

  3. Ship the item back insured and trackable.

  4. Once received and inspected, refunds or exchanges are processed within 5–7 business days.

What items are eligible for return?

  • Items must be unworn, unaltered, and in original packaging (box, tags, and certificate).

  • Custom, made-to-order, resized, or engraved pieces are final sale.

  • Returns showing wear, damage, or missing parts may be denied or subject to a fee.

How will I receive my refund?

Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days after inspection.

Can I exchange a gift?

Yes. Provide the order number or purchaser’s name, and we’ll help the recipient exchange or receive store credit.

Why do you require original packaging?

Original packaging ensures authenticity, protects the piece in transit, and keeps your return complete for quality control.

Who covers return shipping?

Customers are responsible for return shipping unless we made an error (e.g., damaged or incorrect item).

If it’s our error, we’ll provide a prepaid insured label.

How should I ship my return?

Please use an insured, trackable courier and keep your receipt. We’re not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit but will help with carrier claims if possible.

What if my jewelry needs repair?

We stand behind our craftsmanship. If a manufacturing issue appears within 6 months of delivery, contact us — we’ll repair it at no cost.

For accidental or wear-related damage, we’ll provide a repair quote.

Do you accept returns from resellers or third-party retailers?

No. Only purchases made directly from Fourteen August are eligible for return or exchange.
